between September 29 and November 1, 2023

We are inviting you to submit your abstract for next year's issue of JoDLA Journal of Digital Landscape Architecture JoDLA 9-2024.

Please submit your extended abstract between September 29 and November 1, 2023.

“Extended Abstract” should have a minimum of 1200 and maximum of 2000 words including key references. The extended abstract needs to show the progress and the uniqueness of the study in some area of Digital Landscape Architecture.

Please see all requirements given for the Call for Papers at:

One additional benefit of the two phase blind review process is to also give an opportunity for possible presentation at the next DLA June 5 to 7, 2024.

The quality and value of presentations at the conference and of the printed and open-access online journal JoDLA (http://JoDLA.info) depend entirely upon volunteer contributions of abstracts and papers for presentation and publication, as well as a double blind review process.

We cordially invite you to contribute your current work. Please consider taking some time for your abstract, and later, for your final paper. We look forward to seeing your abstract soon, and to seeing you next June at DLA 2024!

Submit the abstract as a pdf file online via the web-based submission system at:

The journal publishes original papers in English that address theoretical and practical issues, innovative developments, methods, applications, findings, and case studies that are drawn primarily from work presented at the annual international DLA–Con Digital Landscape Architecture Conference. Its intent is to encourage the broad dissemination of these ideas, innovations, and practices. The Journal of Digital Landscape Architecture is listed in the international citation database Scopus. It is in the top 35% of all journals in the engineering / architecture category. JoDLA is listed in DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals).:

The author’s fee for the publication is currently 400 Euros for the standard 8 pages of print with the option of publishing extra pages at 50 Euros per additional page. With this contribution towards the publishing cost you also receive an author’s copy. For the author’s team, additional books at a reduced price are available. Landscape architecture is seeking new solutions for parks and green spaces

"Landscape architects are increasingly turning to different tree species or small perennials in cities in response to climate change. In doing so, they draw inspiration from arid regions in Eastern Europe," says landscape architect Nicole Uhrig (www.deutschlandfunkkultur.de, 24.05.2023).
