How can I finance my studies?

  Financing with the Federal Education Assistance Act (Bundesausbildungsförderungsgesetz, BAföG)

  State funding for students is called BAföG. The goal of BAföG is to enable young people from lower-income families an optimal education, that is, to increase equal opportunities. This means that not everyone is entitled to BAföG. Whether you have a claim cannot be said generally because it depends on many factors.

  The offices in Bernburg and Dessau are only staffed during the lecture period. Applications for Anhalt University students are processed centrally in Köthen.
