Smart Runner
Smart Runner uses most recent rapid production methods to fully automatically craft shoes that always fit you, have no transport ways, are easy to recycle and avoid cruel working conditions.Nature adapts continuously to new stress points, keeps all transport ways as short as possible and is fully degradable. Why can’t we do what nature does so well? Why do we have to wear shoes that are not personalized to our feet, why do they need to travel the whole world before they are worn and why do they have to be so difficult to recycle? The project Smart Runner questions our man made processes and takes inspiration from nature made methods.
The outcome: Fully personalized shoes 3d printed locally that are 100% recyclable.
