The study of real estate valuation

Real estate valuations are needed for a wide variety of occasions, almost regardless of the economic cycle. The clients for such real estate valuations are in particular banks, institutional real estate investors, private persons, courts and the public sector. The reasons for an assignment can be as diverse as the properties to be assessed. While the determination of a market and mortgage lending value by real estate appraisers is required in the financial sector for loan decisions and lending, real estate valuations are equally important for investment companies, large asset-based companies, family offices and for private individuals in purchase/sale/dispute matters.

Real estate appraisers enjoy a high degree of trust from clients and customers. They are out and about getting to know properties, meeting a wide variety of people, using new digital media and innovative geo-information systems for research and appraisal, as well as the latest technology such as drones for special property inspections. An expert opinion is an important basis for decision-making for many players in the greater real estate market.
