MOK goes to Bali

Ideas for the future of work

MOK research excursion to Bali

From February 18-25, 12 students in the master’s in Online-Communications (MOK) and two instructors took the long trip to Bali. There, we conducted interviews with digital nomads and looked at co-working spaces on the island. The excursion’s aim was to get to know the extreme working conditions of digital nomads better, to understand the tools and platforms they use to organize themselves, and to see the challenges with which they are confronted.

We are working on the project on digital nomads over a longer period of time with several master’s theses and projects in our studies.
