Modules of the specialization
Students will acquire the competencies required to process issues from a tax perspective including the development of appropriate solutions. This includes transfer taxes and taxes on non-income values, as well as procedural and criminal law, and finally foundations of external auditing and tax compliance.
This module focuses on corporate taxation, theory of tax proceedings (AO, tax code), tax auditing, and criminal and administrative offence law.
In this module, students will acquire the competencies required to process issues from a tax perspective including understanding and analyzing differences in legal forms and the development of appropriate solutions. The subject matter includes income taxes and selected transfer taxes as well as surcharge taxes.
How can I optimize the tax situation? How does DATEV, for example, support me in this process? The subject of the module is tax accounting including basic parameters such as the choice of legal form and location.
This module will deepen knowledge especially in the areas of warranty rights and legal obligations. Students will be able to solve cases using expert methods.
Recht der Vertragsgestaltung
Students will strengthen and develop their skills in providing legal advice. For this purpose, and in addition to the lectures on substantive law, decisions of the BGH (Federal Court of Justice) dealing with contract law will be discussed and real contracts will be analyzed.
Students will learn basic concepts and principles of property law. Students will acquire knowledge of ownership, proprietary and third-party ownership, and owner-occupier relationships.

In this module, students will learn basic features of loan collateral law including practical applications of this law. This knowledge will foster professional competencies required in the legal, financial as well as commercial areas of banks and companies.
This module requires self-initiative and offers the chance to conduct independent scientific work and present the results of this work in scientific form. Teamwork also strengthens social skills.
