Dear doctoral students,
on Wednesday, 15. 5. 2019, the departments 5, 6 and 7 will organize the thirddoctoral meeting in the Martinskirche in Köthen (Leipziger Straße 36) at 6 p.m., to which we cordially invite you.
We are pleased to announce a lectures at the meeting:
Nikolay Mareev with "Bottleneck queue level congestion control"
Kai-Friederike Oelbermann will also briefly introduce the Graduate Academy of the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and, in this context, also discuss the financing possibilities for doctorates. The lecture takes place in a seminar room of the church at the beginning. Afterwards, we can exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere, create new synergies and exchange ideas on promotion topics in general. For this purpose a common barbecue is planned in the outside area of the church, to which everyone is encouraged to bring along a little something. Please bring only about as much as you would like to eat yourself, because in the past unfortunately a lot of meat had to be thrown away. A small Viking chess tournament is also planned. You are welcome to participate in the organisation of the evening (e. g. by bringing along board games or suggesting further outdoor activities) or to present your own lecture. Please let us know in advance if you would like to take this opportunity. Please register by 13. 5. at the latest: Login and registration
We are pleased about your numerous appearance.
Lars Schütz (PhD-representative, department 5), Veronika Kirova, Arne Goedeke (PhD-representative, department 6), Kevin Hoppe, Alexander Kettner (PhD-representative, department 7)
