Protection against cybercrime is a top priority and must be continually reinforced. From August 18 to 20, 2026, a Live IT Security Arena—an Awareness Circle training session organized by the Cologne-based company known_sense—will take place at all three campus locations.
Feedback from participants around the world clearly shows that this training is a guaranteed success when it comes to raising employee awareness ['hxxps://www.known-sense.de/security-arena']. As an employee of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, you have the opportunity to attend and see for yourself. As you work through a total of 4 themed stations in no more than 1 hour, you’ll gain valuable insights into the areas of “Security@home,” “Disinformation, Fake News & Co.,” “Apps – Mobile Communication, Apps & Co.,” and “Passwords & Authentication.” Play on-site in a team of up to 6 participants and win the coveted daily team prize. After the event, you’ll receive a “Knowledge at a Glance” handout to take home and a certificate of participation.
You can find more details and register via the links below. The number of participants for each 1-hour slot is limited to 24. There are a maximum of 4 slots per day. If a location is already fully booked, you’re welcome to participate at one of the other locations.
