University Library
You will find a great deal of specialist literature at our three libraries in Bernburg, Dessau and Köthen and you can look up everything in our online-catalog (OPAC).
With the student ID card you can borrow books in all three libraries. The registration is free and takes place in the library on your campus
The loan period is 4 weeks. You can extend your book-loan up to seven times. However, some of the copies can only be read in the library and can not be taken home (reference stock - this includes all magazines). Literature not available at the site can be ordered from another library.
On your student ID you will find your personal library number.
With this number and the first three letters of your surname as a password you can log in to the online portal of the university library to get the current status of your loan.
You also have access to the database and the catalog of the university library with your personal number and password.
