The advances in technology nowadays make it possible to remotely control a large number of end devices in your own home using a smartphone. This trend will continue to develop in all areas in the coming years. Sören Thiering, Patrick Schabe and Felix Lange want to take up this approach and transfer it to industry with their founding project "nexCube". The goal: to create modular flexibility for the entire laboratory and thus be the first on the market.
The nexCube will be able to network the existing standard devices via interfaces, which means that they can be managed, controlled and regulated centrally. Manual activities in the experiment are reduced and higher throughputs are made possible - without loss of flexibility and quality.
The start-up center FOUND IT! the budding entrepreneurs. From April 1st, 2018 the project "nexCube" will be financially supported by the European Fund for Regional Development and the State of Saxony-Anhalt with a funding amount of € 225,000.
