The 'Ziegelei Hundisburg' is a brickworks and technology museum, which produce hand-made bricks and building material. The Brickyard was founded in 1882 and still gives visitors an impression of brickmaking.
In the ceramics workshop, each student made brick to get an impression of the manual production.
After visiting this technical monument, we drove to the Castle Hundisburg.
The Castle Hundisburg goes back to the high Middle Age. The castle was transformed into a renaissance building in the 16th century. In the 17th century, the castle was expanded in the Baroque style.
We visited the castle and the Baroque garden. It is one of the oldest Classical French Gardens in Germany.
