Social and cultural sustainability

Sustainability at Anhalt University

Our university supports the right of every person to successfully study and work regardless of their biographical or cultural background, their family responsibilities, their physical limitations, or their psychological resilience, religious affiliation, age, or gender. Students and employees should be able to balance their studies, work and private life. Based on these foundations, students and employees are expected to treat each other with respect and appreciation. Health and well-being are promoted through the university health management program. Anhalt University of Applied Sciences promotes the active shaping of sustainable university development through the work of the Sustainability Working Group (AG Nachhaltigkeit), through its pilot projects, and through student initiatives such as Wurzelwerk.
