Colorful Scientists in new study course BiFTec-FOOD4S (2020 – 2022)

Studying means not only imparting knowledge but also cultivating intercultural exchange.

In Joint-Master-Degree-Progamm „BiFTec-FOOD4S” (Sustainable Food Systems Engineering, Technology and Business)

students learn in 4 countries (Belgien, Portugal, Deutschland, Irland) and at 4 Universities in Europe (KU Leuven in Gent, UCP in Porto, Hochschule Anhalt – Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Köthen and Bernburg, UCD in Dublin) to use sustainable process and management methods, re-evaluate food processing, look in the future and contemplate needs from consumers and producers in appreciate and resource-saving manner.

After completing the modules:

  • Sustainable Production of Plant based Food Products: Cereals
  • Sustainable Production of Food from Animal Origin: Meat and Dairy
  • Business and Economics in Food Industry

at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences the students designed their puzzle in the BiFTec-FOOD4S – Logo and everyone takes a piece of memory from their study time home.

With joy and gratitude, in times of pandemic and travel restrictions, 12 students were able to enjoy their time at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Köthen and Bernburg, taking part in online lectures and physically in internships and laboratory tests.
