Based on the interim results of an ongoing survey, a high immunization coverage against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus can be assumed among students and lecturers of Anhalt University.

To obtain a holistic picture of the immunization coverage at the university, students and lecturers were asked in an anonymous and voluntary survey to indicate their status regarding COVID-19 immunization. Among students, 86.5% of 1709 respondents and among professors 99% of 109 respondents indicated that they were fully vaccinated.

Participation in this survey is open until October 8, 2021. The link to the survey was emailed to students and faculty.

Those who have not yet been vaccinated may take advantage of the university's vaccination offers. From October 5-7, 2021, a mobile vaccination team will conduct vaccinations at Dessau Campus without pre-registration. At Köthen Campus, interested parties can register for a vaccination appointment by October 5, 2021. Detailed information can be found on this webpage.

International students who have already received a full vaccination against coronavirus-SARS-CoV-2 in their home country are asked to inform the university about their vaccination status via this form. The International Office can then issue reserve documentation which can be used to access the university's facilities.

Due to legal regulations in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, the winter semester 2021/22 will be conducted as an on-campus/in-person semester. Attending classes requires either the proof of full vaccination protection or of having recovered from a SARS-CoV-2 infection or of a negative test result. Detailed information can be found in the framework plan for teaching and examination operations in the winter semester 2021/22 (last revised: September 30, 2021) and on this website:
