• Open Access Publication Fund

  You would like to publish Open Access?

  Anhalt University of Applied Sciences participates in the Germany-wide DEAL consortium. In addition to the free access to scientific publications of the participating publishers, there is also the possibility of open access publication in renowned journals after a peer review process.

  The German Research Foundation (DFG) will fund Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in the area of open access publications starting in 2022. Furthermore, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences has established an Open Access Publication Fund, through which publications in pure Open Access journals can be funded. We would like to motivate you to take advantage of these grants and to check whether your planned publications meet the criteria listed in the "Guide to the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences Open Access Publication Fund".

• University Repository

  The Anhalt University of Applied Sciences supports the goals of Open Science. With "Share_it" (the joint repository of the university libraries in Saxony-Anhalt) we provide a repostitory for Open Access publishing and long-term archiving. As a scientist of Anhalt University you can publish and archive scientific contributions, research results and qualification papers on Share_it.

  Your publication will be provided as electronic full text with a DOI, citable and made permanently accessible. When publishing via the repository "Share_it", please note the associated searchability of your publication via full-text search engines (general conditions for using the Open Access repository). Requirements and legal framework for an open access publication on our university repository can be found summarized here.

  For digital publication on "Share_it", please submit your scientific publication and the signed author's declaration to us: publikationen(at)hs-anhalt.de.

   

• Theses

  The submission and record of theses in the library is optional - there is no longer an archival requirement since 2018.

  If you would like to publish your thesis via our university repository "Share_it", we need it as a PDF file as well as the completed author's declaration with the recommendation of your first referee.

  Please note that if you publish on share_it, your work will also be full-text-indexed by search engines (general conditions for using the Open-Access-Repository).

  Please submit your scientific publication and the signed author declaration to us.

  For inclusion in the physical library holdings, the thesis can be submitted to the library on a data carrier or as a printed copy.

• University Bibliography

  With the university bibliography, we contribute to research reporting and science evaluation. All publications by university members are documented. The titles recorded form the basis of the publication lists of the personal profiles of our researchers and employees.

  Help us to maintain the university bibliography without gaps. Please forward the title data of your scientific work to us via our "Title reports" form displayed on the right.

   

   

• ISBN Assignment

  In cooperation with Grafische Werkstatt (Contact: Manfred Schwarz), we publish your printed and digital contributions as part of "Edition Hochschule Anhalt" and assign ISBN as well as permanent identifiers (DOIs) for digital publications. Please apply for your ISBN via the online form.

  We take care of the delivery of the obligatory contributions to the national libraries and the state library as well as the distribution of your publications to partner universities in the exchange of documents.

  For the publication of your publication, we need the author's declaration filled out by you in addition to the document.

  To increase the visibility of your contributions in the scientific context, you can provide yourself as an author with a personal ID:
