*** Effects from the last collective bargaining agreement for the year 2018 ***

In the bargaining round in 2017, pay grade 6 was introduced for the salary groups 9 to 15 starting on 1 January 2018, and a raise in pay for this grade was agreed on starting on 1 October 2018. For employees who were in pay grade 5 on 31 December 2017, the time spent in that pay grade will be counted. You were placed in pay grade 6 on 1 January 2018 if you had spent at least five years in pay grade 5.

A similar improvement was agreed on for employees in the “small” salary group 9, for whom pay grade 4 had been the final pay grade. After five years in pay grade 4, they will receive a raise in salary.

The Finanzamt Dessau-Roßlau - Financial Services - will implement the change.

*** Reasonableness of Hotel Costs according to Sec. 7 of the German Travel Expense Act (Bundesreisekostengesetz, BRKG) ***

Because hotel prices have continually risen in recent years, it was necessary to increase the amount considered reasonable for hotel costs from 60€ to 80€ (not including breakfast). If the cost of the hotel is higher than this, reasons must be given.

For events/conferences:

The University’s HIS-QIS online portal can be accessed through the Internet:

Registration to the portal is done using Anhalt University’s central user administration. For the username and password, use the log-in data you got from the IT Service Center (ISC) that you already use for central services like signing in to the central email system or for WiFi. If you have changed the initial password you received, then you will need to use the new password.

You can download instructions with more details on recording absences here.
