DESCRIPTION:This workshop offers a comprehensive introduction to the world
  of scholarly publishing. Participants will learn how to strategically sel
 ect a target journal\, taking into account factors such as scope\, audienc
 e\, and metrics. A focus will be placed on understanding and navigating th
 e peer review process—from preparing a solid submission\, responding to 
 reviewer feedback\, to effectively communicating with editors.\nIn additio
 n\, the workshop will cover essential topics such as copyright and licensi
 ng\, common ethical challenges (including predatory publishing\, authorshi
 p disputes\, and plagiarism)\, and the evolving landscape of Open Access a
 nd Open Science. Participants will also discuss the growing role of Artifi
 cial Intelligence in academic publishing..\nYour Speaker\nAndrea Sanchini 
 is a trainer in scientific writing and publishing who completed his Ph.D. 
 in Biomedical Sciences in 2017. He has more than fifteen years of experien
 ce in Life Sciences and understands the challenges Ph.D. candidates and sc
 ientists face in writing and publishing journal articles with limited time
