Subashkumar Rajanayagam

I am a PhD candidate since 2021 at the Anhalt university of Applied Sciences and Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, under the supervision of Mr. Prof. Dr. Stefan Twieg and Ms. Prof. Dr. Ulrike Steinmann.
I completed my MSc. - Master in Biomedical Engineering at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and my BEng (Hons) - Bachelors in Mechatronics Engineering (Honours) at the Monash University of Malaysia.

Workspace:

Autonomous System and Robotics
Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence

I have experience in a variety of industries such as shipping building/maintenance, software development, and research and development, building mechatronic systems from prototype to real-world implementations.

Current Research Focus:

Real-time Quadruped Autonomous Systems platform construction and gait/locomotion implementation

Implementation of robotic functions/abilities using Machine learning and AI techniques such as Unsupervised/Supervised and Reinforcement Learning algorithms

Implementation of robotic functions/abilities in the categories of Speech, Human-Robot-interactions, and Mapping and Navigation

Special focus on the implementation of sensor fusion-based Environmental Interactions abilities with mobile robotics

Application focus on healthcare use-cases with Mobile autonomous robots and AI to support and help elderly/disabled/people with mobility limitations
