Course content and objectives

Students obtain a deep understanding of processes and their interfaces in order to be scientifically and entrepreneurially successful in the global competition at the management level. They expand the knowledge they gained in the bachelor’s program and engineering working methods. The Master of Engineering degree enables graduates to enter into careers in all companies that work with general mechanical engineering, in particular the automobile industry and its national and international suppliers. Successful graduates of Anhalt University’s degree program find interesting managerial positions in research and development divisions. The master’s degree also qualifies graduates to start a doctorate. Graduates can also enter into higher civil service (höherer Dienst).

Requirements

  • A qualified university degree in the bachelor’s program in Mechanical Engineering or comparable degree programs with a standard period of study of at least seven semesters (210 credits)
  • Overall grades of 3.0 or higher (German grading scale) can be admitted
  • Overall grades lower than 3.0 (German grading scale) cannot be admitted
  • in some cases aptitude interview
