- International Strategic Management
Students learn to appreciate the contribution that strategy can make to a successful company-performance and recognise the key characteristics of an effective strategy. They identify the main structural features of an industry that influence competition and profitability and use evidence on structural trends.
- Management Game
Using a complex simulation of business decision making for multiple products on diverse markets with the aid of special computer software, this module engages students in group work in a competitive environment over a period of time, where they are required to formulate a strategy for the simulated company in the areas of marketing, operations, distribution, human resources, investment and budgeting.
Master Thesis & Colloquium
Through the master thesis, the student shall demonstrate the capability of dealing with specific problems independently within the limited time-frame using academic research methodology to formulate solutions to technically complex and interdisciplinary issues.
During the colloquium the student shall demonstrate the capability of presenting the salient results of the academic work undertaken using modern medial techniques and technology and to defend the results in an academic discourse in front of faculty and peers.
Option to take part in exchange programmes with our cooperation partner universities abroad (e.g. Mexico, Spain, France, Russia, Poland, New Zealand etc.) during the 3rd semester.
