Events & projects

Coworking is a central element of the COI. With our coworking formats, we support you in combating your procrastination and being productive together! We cordially invite you to take part in our events "Long Learning Night" - during the exam phase -, the "Do your shit" day and "Loud CoWorking".

Direct contact and exchange with the city of Bernburg is also important to us. Our plant swap, regular BarNights and the creative market - organized with the Jugendkulturinitiative e.V. - bring students and Bernburg residents together. The BarNight has become a real classic.

A new format is the creative market, which we held for the first time in 2024. Local artists, students and Bernburg residents took part in the market. Thanks to the cooperation with Hotel Wien, we were able to attract 15 creative exhibitors who offered everything from jewelry to ceramics and woodwork.

External initiatives

External initiatives also provided important impetus, such as the alliance meeting of the "Bernburg Alliance for Democracy and Tolerance" or the discussion on the new planning of Friedensallee in the Monday Forum. These formats address local concerns and promote open dialog.

We see ourselves as a catalyst that communicates the values of democracy, tolerance and solidarity in an authentic way. In doing so, we draw on our own horizons, but at the same time allow new perspectives and impulses from outside. Only in this way can the project space remain a place where diversity is not only possible, but celebrated.

We have planned the monastery festival with a creative market for the coming summer semester.
