Development of an AI-supported laying test for waterfowl
At Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Köthen, experts from the Departments of Electrical, Mechanical, Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and Agriculture, Ecotrophology and Landscape Development are working on a pioneering project: the development of an automated, breeding-optimized laying test specifically for waterfowl. With the help of artificial intelligence, machine learning and state-of-the-art measurement and control technology, the system is intended to enable seamless parentage control of the offspring.
The project aims to make animal husbandry more sustainable and efficient. Innovative robotics and automation technologies are set to revolutionize poultry farming. To ensure that this system best meets the needs of breeders and farmers, we need your experience and suggestions!
