Anhalt University of Applied Sciences sees itself as a driving force for initiating sustainable processes in the local communities of Köthen, Bernburg and Dessau, as well as in the districts of Anhalt-Bitterfeld and Salzlandkreis. In this regard, Anhalt University has either set up or is a collaborative member of numerous groups and networks with regional sustainability stakeholders. Anhalt University thus opens up a regional space for discussion and social initiatives related to sustainability.
