General Details about the IT Training Course
The training phase at Anhalt University, which started on 15th September 2022 with the 1st wave, will continue this year as well. You can enroll in the Basic Level Course at any time using the key mentioned on our website under Training Implementation. If there is a need for the other mentioned training courses, please contact us.
The content and formats vary depending on the training course. Various options are offered, from interactive e-learning, online and in-person seminars, to digital scavenger hunts. For further information on the training formats, please refer to the FAQs of the respective course level.
Depending on the training course, you have a specified time frame to complete the content. The timeframe is designed so that you can integrate the course into your work schedule and complete it at your own learning pace.
There are a total of 5 levels that you may need to complete depending on your competency level and security status at the university. You will receive specific information about each training session from us. There is also the possibility of completing the highest training level if you demonstrate special aptitude.
Yes, you can skip individual levels if you can demonstrate the corresponding knowledge. This will involve taking an individual exam or a short test for the relevant level. If you pass, you are eligible to move on to the next level.
You will receive a certificate that indicates your acquired security level and validates the knowledge you have gained. Alternatively, you can choose to have this certificate filed in your personnel record.
The knowledge gained during the training is applied in recurring phishing simulations. These are phishing emails created by us that attempt to lure you to fake websites. You will receive these emails sporadically in your university inbox.
If you do not recognize the phishing email and click on a link, you will simply be directed to a page highlighting indicators of a fake email. Your behavior remains anonymous and cannot be traced back to you.
