Creative combination of computer science, virtual reality and Biotechnology

What can you expect?

With virtual reality glasses on their eyes, visitors can wander through a virtual house, make their own yoghurt in the kitchen of the "BioTech House" or create a fine drop of wine in the virtual wine cellar. Developed on an interdisciplinary basis and supervised by the working groups of Prof. Dr. Johannes Tümler and Prof. Dr. Jana Rödigparticipants can experience the process from grape processing to bottling on a small industrial scale in "their" house, test their knowledge in a subsequent test and even receive a virtual reward.

After the digital experience, what has been learned becomes very real: the combination of technology and food production can also be experienced in terms of taste when tasting innovative "Caro bubble yoghurt".

Caro-Bubble-Joghurt

The program is supplemented by the "Creative Computer Science" section of Prof. Dr. Korinna Bade. Here, visitors can experience their first steps in programming, design creative mandalas to take home with them, try out computer games developed by students or be inspired by student short films. An interactive AI quiz invites visitors to playfully test how good they are at recognizing AI-generated content.
