Module 1: Design Your Business

Brief Description:

Introduction to the world of business models: What exactly is a business model, and how do successful business models work? Participants will learn about a wide variety of business model patterns (subscription, freemium, platform, etc.) and gain an initial overview of the Lean Startup Framework as an iterative approach to business model development.

Learning Outcome:

Participants will understand the fundamental building blocks of a business model, be able to distinguish between different types of business models, and be familiar with the basic principles of the Lean Startup Framework (Build-Measure-Learn). They will be able to begin considering which business model might be suitable for their idea.
