Title: Development of an automated laying nest with a focus on waterfowl

Description: Ensuring reliable identification of the animal in the planned nest to record selected animal welfare indicators and functional characteristics with the shortest possible time fixation of the animals, Correct registration of egg laying in order to use the nest as an instrument for optimizing flock management, Identification of possibilities for temporary or permanent labeling of the laid egg, Modular design to easily adapt the nest to other poultry species.
