The city must reserve spaces for being abstract, must allow its contemporaneity, must deliver the fields of experience. Deprive the inexorably and rapid decline of residential urban form, in which,on one hand we can still understand the boundaries of History, but on the other we have confused the idea of living with the floor area, the idea of life as evolution + revolution with the idea of citizens considered as patients, a subject to be help and save by a planning department. The experimentation was about getting abstract ways of evolving a design. I chose to do so with my paintings. I painted using thread and ink to get curves and lines. Taking some curves from my paintings and made them digital to start the design. Breaking the monotony of skyscrapers which are usually strongly linear and straight, I tried “GROWING” curves around the rectangular shape to form a new prototype for a skyscraper. Where this abstract curve form is latching onto the rectangular support. Breaking down the solid abstract curve mass, I evolved it into multiple ribs running around the rectangular build form. With a tensile white material enveloping the ribs to form a dreamy white landscape around the whole skyscraper.
