Objectives and work program
The main contribution of the sub-project is material and process engineering investigations for ultrasonic stress measurement. Material-specific material characteristics (acousto-elastic constants) of different materials are determined in their variability through production and processing and the process engineering qualification is realized. The aim is to enable the non-destructive measurement of load and residual stresses using ultrasound.
