Title: ID2 - Production-related, intelligent digitalization and data concepts for process monitoring and control for the next generation of HJT solar cells
Sub-project: non-STC measurement methods and data analysis tools for LED solar simulators and electro-optical sensor technology
Description: The ID² project aims to research innovative processes and procedures in the context of data lifecycle management with a direct link to production-relevant issues. Project partners from the "OptiLearn" research project (FKZ 03EE1108) want to transfer their results to GW cell production and address the following aspects in particular:
- Ensuring data quality, automated measuring equipment qualification and method evaluation and development for new inline measurement technology or sensor technology,
- Scalable structuring and administration of large amounts of data, e.g. through the development of data products, interfaces for automated data analysis and visualization,
- Innovative data analytics, e.g. by combining cell measurements and imaging or advanced anomaly detection for time series in the production environment,
- Accelerating the implementation of new processes and methods by developing and using a lab-to-fab platform with a focus on measurement technology and data generation.
The overarching goal is to increase overall equipment effectiveness by combining metrological approaches and scalable data management, thereby reducing costs, especially in high-volume production, and increasing the quality of solar cells through improved control of processes and material suppliers.
