Methodical studies on the detection of selected bat species using drone-based thermal imaging and bioacoustics

Title: Methodological studies on the detection of selected bat species using drone-based thermal imaging and bioacoustics

Description: The planned project aims to make a contribution to biodiversity conservation. By using innovative technologies in combination with methods from the field of artificial intelligence, it will be examined whether the currently used detection methods of bats can be improved. This could have several positive effects:
- Contribution to species and environmental monitoring,
- contribution to valid recording as a basis for decision-making in approval planning,
- contribution in the monitoring of CEF or FCS measures.
