Module 6: Financial Foresight

Brief Description:

Introductory lecture on financial concepts in startups: Participants will learn the most important terms (costs, revenue, profit, cash flow, liquidity), understand basic financial mechanisms, and work through the process of creating a simple financial plan step by step. No prior knowledge required —the course explains everything from the ground up.

Learning Outcome:

Participants will understand the basic financial concepts in business, be able to distinguish between different types of costs, and be able to create a simple 3-year financial plan. They will be familiar with the key terms and able to use them when communicating with funding providers or advisors.
