The participation of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in the international ranking procedure for ecological sustainability - "Green Metric”
Anhalt University’s participation in the “Green Metric” ranking has ensured an external evaluation of the measures aimed at sustainable development since 2019. “Green Metric’s” assessment approach covers all areas related to the sustainable use and management of resources, ranging from infrastructure, energy mix and consumption, through waste treatment, water use, and transportation coordination, to the integration of sustainability aspects within teaching and research activities. Participation in the ranking process is an important incentive to integrate the topic of sustainability even more strongly within the university’s future development. In 2022, Anhalt University placed 227th out of a total of 1050 universities from across 82 different countries.
