"With our offer, we want to show that even small measures, such as a wildflower area in the garden or on the balcony, can make an important contribution to promoting biodiversity," says Prof. Dr. Sabine Tischew from Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, one of the project managers.

Visitors can find out how to do this in the outdoor area, where they can get to know native wild plants, learn more about regional seed mixtures and get practical tips on how to design gardens, balconies or public green spaces in a natural way. Various pre-grown wild plants vividly demonstrate how diverse and attractive native species can be and the important role they play for insects and other animals.

Many people want to do something for nature, but don't know exactly where to start

Take part and put together an individual seed

Guests can put together their own individual seed mix from regional wild plant seeds and take it home with them free of charge. This way, the idea of a species-rich green space can be implemented directly in your own garden or on your balcony.
