A live hacking event organized by the university's ISI training team and hosted by Aware7 took place at the three university locations at the end of June 2023. A total of 200 participants attended this event, which was offered both on site and online via Webex. 56% of the participants followed the live hacking online, the rest in the respective face-to-face seminars. Feedback on the event was very positive and most of the feedback providers (94%) answered the question about further events of this kind in the affirmative.

There were a few requests to cover other information security topics and to expand on existing topics (password vault, password card, hacker hardware, protecting your own computers and servers, protecting private computers and your own data, encryption methods, certificates and IoT).
We have included selected topics in our training concept and offer them in the advanced intermediate level course. You can focus on the following topics in the course:
- MITRE and OSINT
- Encryption and key exchange
- Ransomware
- Network and protocols
- Social engineering
and thus look forward to deepening the basics of information security that you have already learned or already have.
If required, you can download the ten IT security tips (here on the website on the right) as "knowledge-to-go".
