The AI Security Game Event organized by the university's ISI training team and hosted by Fabula Games GmbH took place at the three university locations in mid-June 2025. A total of 80 people took part in the event, which was held both on site and online. The participants dealt with the topic of social engineering and the various attack methods - supported or automated by the use of AI tools. In a light, playful and practical way, the participants learned how AI (AIRESA) provides support in the creation of spear phishing emails, password hacking, identity theft or even a deepfake attack and how to avoid or recognize these attacks.

Some questions remained unanswered due to the tight schedule, but will therefore be included in further training courses offered by the ISI training team. The aim is to prepare the necessary technical background knowledge for the questions posed and to convey this at the appropriate point. In this way, the connection between the chosen attack method and its effectiveness can be better understood.
The following topics have certainly emerged:
- Password managers and passkeys
- Two-factor/multifactor authentication (2FA)
- Real AI-based attacks
- AI as a defense mechanism
The training team is already working on the offer. Until then, you are welcome to download the five golden rules for protection against AI-supported social engineering attacks (here on the website on the right).
