IP protection - High-resolution material and thin-film analytics for >>next generation<< solar cell technologies to protect intellectual property for German and European market participants

Title: IP protection - High-resolution material and thin-film analytics for >>next generation<< solar cell technologies to protect intellectual property for German and European market participants

Description: This project aims to develop (1) new preparative methods and (2) analytical techniques for high-resolution material and thin-film characterization for "next generation" solar cell technologies with a focus on interfaces. For example, innovative methods for the large-area preparation and high-resolution characterization of encapsulated layers, for the localization of microscopic current paths and for the credits of local passivation properties are aimed at. These methods are to be correlated with simplified and fast measurement procedures and brought into routine application.
