Title: Studies and knowledge transfer on the sustainable management of the oak processionary moth in peri-urban and rural areas

Description: The overall aim of the project is to improve the management of the oak processionary moth in peri-urban and rural areas and to protect the environment and the health of the population.
In detail, the following objectives are pursued in the planned project:
- With the help of innovative methods using AI, further knowledge about the natural enemies of the EPS is to be generated.
- The transferability of results on preventive control methods to other regions will be addressed.
- Furthermore, the project aims to make an important contribution to the increased use of sustainable control methods and the promotion of environmental awareness and knowledge competence through knowledge transfer.
