The Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Department of Architecture, Facility Management and Geoinformation is a recognized testing and inspection body (PÜZ body) in accordance with the state building regulations and is registered with the German Institute for Building Technology Berlin (DIBt) under the abbreviation SAN 17. The testing body is recognized for issuing general building authority test certificates (abP) for fall-protection glazing, walk-on glazing and point fixings without ball-and-socket joints in accordance with DIN 18008 Parts 3 to 6. The inspection body is recognized for monitoring the installation of point-supported, rear-ventilated wall claddings made of toughened safety glass.

The usability of unregulated construction products and types of construction must generally be verified by an approval in individual cases (ZiE) or a general building authority approval (abZ). Experimental evidence is often required as part of such approval or authorization procedures. In the field of structural glass construction and façade construction, we offer a wide range of component and material tests. These are both standard test procedures in accordance with the relevant standards and guidelines as well as special test procedures adapted to customer needs or building regulation requirements.

The Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, Department of Architecture, Facility Management and Geoinformation is recognized by the DIBt as a PÜZ body for the following areas in accordance with the state building regulations.

Testing body for the examination and issuing of general supervisory test certificates

• for the construction product "prefabricated fall-protection glazing" in accordance with VV TB LSA C 3.18
• for the construction product "point fixings without ball joint" in accordance with VV TB LSA C 3.19
• for the construction product "prefabricated walk-on glazing" in accordance with VV TB LSA C 3.20
• for the construction product "prefabricated walk-on and prefabricated fall-through resistant glazing for maintenance purposes" in accordance with VV TB LSA C 3.32
• for the construction type "fall-resistant glazing" in accordance with VV TB LSA C 4.12
• for the type "walk-on glazing" in accordance with VV TB LSA C 4.13
• for the type of construction "walk-on and fall-through resistant glazing for maintenance measures" in accordance with VV TB LSA C 4.15

Monitoring body for external monitoring

• Monitoring the installation of point-supported, rear-ventilated wall claddings made of ESG

• Load-bearing capacity tests of point fixings in accordance with DIN 18008-3
• Pendulum impact tests on fall-protection glazing, for experimental verification of impact resistance in accordance with DIN 18008-4
• Impact tests on walk-on glazing, for experimental verification of impact resistance and residual load-bearing capacity in accordance with DIN 18008-5
• Residual load-bearing capacity tests on overhead glazing outside the scope of DIN 18008-2 and DIN 18008-3
• Examinations on glazing that can only be accessed to a limited extent for maintenance and repair measures and is fall-through-proof, for experimental proof of impact resistance and residual load-bearing capacity in accordance with DIN 18008-6
• Load-bearing capacity tests on point-fixed glazing
• Impact body tests on glazing with limited access for maintenance and cleaning purposes in accordance with GS-Bau-18
• Load-bearing capacity and residual load-bearing capacity tests on load-bearing glass components
