FILA

Future Internet Lab Anhalt

Welcome to

The Future Internet Lab (FILA) was founded in 2010 under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Eduard Siemens and is based at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. Over the years, the team has grown and developed into a dynamic research group focusing on artificial intelligence, modern network technologies and data-driven systems.

Today, FILA unites 17 researchers and scientific staff working on innovative and application-oriented research topics. Eleven team members are actively involved in research projects such as AI-RMDT, ReSeDiUm, INPAKT, SmartLighting and AURORA, addressing challenges ranging from high-speed big data transport and energy-efficient IoT networks to multimodal data analytics, smart infrastructure and AI-based prediction systems.

In parallel, six team members are dedicated to international academic collaboration and are establishing and expanding cooperation with universities and research institutions worldwide.

By combining excellent research and strong international partnerships, FILA is contributing to sustainable digital transformation, intelligent systems and future-oriented networked technologies.
