Welcome to the Future Internet Lab Anhalt
The Future Internet Lab Anhalt (FILA) at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences was founded in 2010 under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Eduard Siemens. The research group addresses network technologies, artificial intelligence and the analysis of different data sources. Its work examines questions that bring communication systems and data-based methods into specific application settings.
FILA’s research projects illustrate this range: AI-RMDT explores AI methods for large-volume data transfer, while INPAKT investigates energy-optimized communication in IoT sensor networks. ReSeDiUm combines satellite imagery and speech data to study usable land; AURORA examines location and route prediction using GPS and speech data. SmartLighting considers adaptive street lighting with sensor networks.
