Satellite and speech data for usable land assessment
ReSeDiUm aims to identify and assess usable land with artificial intelligence. Its research approach combines satellite imagery with speech data from farms. The objective is to bring information from images together with observations and statements from people working in agriculture.
The central question is how these different sources can be analyzed jointly. Image analysis is intended to identify usable areas, while speech processing is intended to provide complementary observations. Another focus is the machine-based identification of relationships between image features and human statements.
The intended findings address questions in agriculture, the environment and spatial planning. Improved accuracy is a research objective, rather than a measured result presented here. ReSeDiUm therefore connects the development of analysis methods with a specific land-use question.
