At Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Köthen, Germany we teach future engineers how to develop own AR/VR projects. In summer semester 2024 the students had the following task:
"Develop an xR application that would have helped you in your own university studies".
10 independent projects were developed:
- Welding Simulator
- Computer Assembly
- Engine Assembly
- X-ray tube
- Math teaching: vectors, planes
- Inside a dialyzer
- AR tractor
- Programming game
- Photovoltaics simulator
- Neural networks simulator
Lecture:
"Augmented, Mixed and Virtual Reality: Principles and Practice"
Elective subject for engineering and computer science study programs in 6th Semester
Time frame:
Summer Semester 2024 (04/24 - 07/24), two lectures per week
