Support for the Internationalization of Ukrainian Higher Education Institutions – Shaping the Digital Future Together: German-Ukrainian Higher Education Institution Collaborations (2021–2023)

Discover New Possibilities

This program helps to realize young scientists' ideas and provide the International Internships “Digital Future: Blended Learning” for faculty from Ukraine. Each contestant who passes the 3 stages of the contest has the opportunity to receive a benefit from the DigIn.Net 2 project for researching or studying at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.

The idea contest helps to discover diamonds among young Ukrainian scholars. Moreover, the international internships foster the internationalization of Ukrainian higher education institutions.

About the Project

The issues of internationalization and digitalization in the conditions of limited mobility not only between countries, but also between universities, have become especially relevant in the virtual contactless environment.

The project provides the infrastructure for the effective dealing with modern ICT tools to increase the use of innovation capacity at the partner universities of Ukraine together with the expert groups in Germany and applies this infrastructure to create a transnational network of scientists.

In 2019-2023, the German-Ukrainian Center for Digital Innovation (DUDIZ), based on an online cooperation platform, was actively used. The successful implementation of the project demonstrates how digitalization tools can be used to deepen the collaboration between the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and its Ukrainian partners. Moreover, the internationalization of Ukrainian higher education institutions facilitates the use of digital tools in order to promote joint innovative sustainable processes.
