Whether looking for a traditional or a modern engineering degree program, Köthen is the right place for you. In three departments – Computer Science and Languages (Dept. 5), Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Management (Dept. 6), and Applied Biosciences and Process Engineering (Dept. 7) – some 3,500 students and 55 professors engage in study and research. The Köthen campus is also international. At the Preparatory School (Landesstudienkolleg), around 430 international students prepare for a successful university degree in Germany. And to balance out the stress of studying, there are large sport facilities, many sports courses, and an active student club. This is also where Anhalt University’s (administrative) heart lies.
