Psychological counseling

Sometimes we simply need someone to talk to, e.g. because we feel overwhelmed in our studies, because we find relationships stressful or because we feel anxious or stressed. Anhalt University of Applied Sciences offers its students a protected space in which such and other problems can be dealt with confidentially.

Social counseling of the Studentenwerk

The social counseling service provides information and advice on a wide range of study and everyday issues, especially on financing your studies and claims against service providers

Studying with a disability

Students with disabilities and chronic illnesses are legally entitled to compensation for disadvantages during their studies and examinations. Each case must be assessed individually, we will be happy to advise you.

Writing advice

The Writing Advisory Service offers a variety of formats aimed at teaching, promoting and actively supporting academic writing as a fundamental skill of academic work.

International

The International Office is the interface for all international activities at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. We inform and advise students, lecturers and staff on their way from Bernburg, Dessau and Köthen abroad or from abroad to Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.

Career counseling

The Continuing Education Center supports students and graduates of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in making contact with interesting employers, preparing application documents, searching for suitable internships and job offers as well as with various events that prepare you for professional life.

Start-up consulting

The FOUND IT! Gründerzentrum is committed to promoting and consolidating the start-up culture at the university, providing comprehensive support for start-up projects by university members and continuously improving the framework conditions for business start-ups in the Anhalt University environment.

Further training advice

The courses offered by the Continuing Education Center at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences can provide access to the university for those with a wide range of educational backgrounds.

Student chaplaincy

Here you can meet students who belong to or are interested in different Christian churches and congregations. It is a get-together for devotions, meetings and joint activities.

Gender equality advice

Gender equality work is an important concern at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. Studying with children, equal opportunities in research and science, support programs for women - the Equal Opportunities Officers are happy to provide advice on topics such as these.

Nutritional advice

The Nutrition Communication Network offers individual nutritional advice, courses and lectures as part of company health management, as well as further training opportunities on all aspects of nutrition for anyone interested.

BaföG advice

BAföG is the name given to state funding for pupils and students. The aim of BAföG is to enable young people from lower-income families to get the best possible education or study. BAföG is therefore not available to everyone. It is not possible to say in general terms whether there is a claim; seek advice.

From supervision to submission - the various phases of a doctorate can present individual challenges. The Graduate Academy will be happy to advise you personally on all matters relating to your doctorate.
