Starting Your Studies

Be well-informed for your start at Anhalt University

Anhalt University of Applied Sciences welcomes all students to the winter semester 2020/2021.

Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic teaching and examinations at the university will follow a flexible schedule in the academic year 2020/21. Detailed information is available in the Decision of the Board of Management of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences of March 30, 2020.

While teaching in the summer semester was mainly run on a digital/distance learning mode and without students physically attending on-campus classes, at present a so-called hybrid semester is planned for the winter semester 2020/21. It will consist of classroom-based and online courses so that international students who are unable to enter Germany can also attend courses. If VISA is issued and entry is granted during the semester, a change of course attendance from online to presence is possible without any problems.

The start of the term is October 1st, 2020 with classes starting on October 5th, 2020.
