Starting Your Studies

Be well-informed for your start at Anhalt University

Welcome to the winter semester 2021/22 and the orientation programs at the start of studies from October 1, 2021.

Introductory sessions are offered to first-semester-students from October 1, 2021. More information are provided on the webpages of the Anhalt University campus where your degree program is offered – Bernburg, Köthen or Dessau - linked below.

For the winter semester 2021/22, Anhalt University welcomes all students on-site at the campus locations. Courses start from October 4, 2021. In order to offer face-to-face classes as comprehensively and safely as possible, access to lecture halls, internships, seminars or visiting the library is only possible for students who are fully vaccinated, recovered or have tested negative. Courses for international students are offered primarily in a hybrid format. At the start of the semester, the university provides Corona testing stations at all campuses where students can get tested free of charge. The dates and locations of the testing offers are listed here. Please find further details in the framework plan for teaching and examination regulations in the winter semester 2021/22 (last revised: September 30, 2021).

Details on courses in your degree program are available on the University's timetabling software WebUntis before the start of the semester.
