As an elected body, the Student Union represents the university-political, social, and economic interests of all Anhalt University students and, together with the departments’ student representatives, manages the ongoing business of the student body.

The three cities are good places to live
A lively district town with Art Nouveau architecture and an imposing castle on a sandstone cliff: the district town of Bernburg (Saale) in the Salzland district of Magdeburger Börde has massively expanded its infrastructure. The campus of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is located in the Strenzfeld district and offers beautiful gardens.
