A scholarship can be a valuable part of studying. Scholarship are not only of great financial value, but they also offer a wide-range of non-material support across many areas connected with studying. A scholarship can also provide assistance in getting started in professional life.
What options are there?
One of the main pillars of Anhalt University's scholarship system is the Deutschlandstipendium, which is aimed at outstanding students. The scholarship supports students with 300 euros per month. 150 euros is provided by the federal government. The university raises the other half from private donors. These can be companies, foundations or private individuals. In addition to the financial support, the scholarship holders are put in contact with their sponsors, which can result in further non-material support.
The DAAD offers universities a combined scholarship and mentoring program (STIBET) funded by the Federal Foreign Office.
Funding is available for Bachelor's and Master's students with foreign citizenship who are enrolled at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.
