Apply for a semester off

Under certain circumstances, you can apply for a semester off.

Deregistration

After you have successfully completed your studies, you will be deregistered. This can also take place at your own request (discontinuation of studies) or ex officio (compulsory).

Code of Conduct

Here you will find the code of conduct for students proposed by the IO. This is a recommendation, especially for use in international degree programs. The enrollment regulations are legally binding.

Registration for the REST policy

As part of EU mobility, you can also study in other member states (with the exception of Ireland and Denmark) for up to 360 days with a residence permit for study purposes. The German university must notify the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees of your stay.
