New Information: KfW loans now available for EU-citizens or foreign students with a German Abitur

IMPORTANT: The KfW-Studienkredit can only be applied for by EU citizens studying in Germany or foreign students with German Abitur. At the time of application, applicants must be able to prove that they have less than €500 in their account and that the financial difficulties were caused by the Corona pandemic.

The KfW loan is subject to the following conditions:

  • application possible between 1st June 2020 and 15th February 2021
  • monthly rates between 100,- and 650,- €
  • up to 14 semester
  • max. 6 semester for postgraduate studies
  • first payment from 1st July 2020 onwards
  • no interest rate until 31st march 2021
  • no proof of collateral
  • flexible repayment arrangements possible
